What to test:

  • Controller input, works everywhere except for start screen. All functionality should be usable with controller, with icons changing as well.
  • Pressing new game - should start the tutorial, at the end of the tutorial you interact with the end tutorial board which sends you to the main game
  • Taximus - is bugged currently, I will have him hotfixed by the end of the week
  • Game flow - works, together with quests, quest log, taxes, untaxed shoppers, skills, laundering, investing
  • Save game - works
  • Performance - game should auto set performance based on your settings
  • Skills - 3 added, cat is also there for a functionality check, I'm finishing that skilll try by the end of week.
  • Quest popup, quest booklet, Quest tracker, visible through walls - shows you the current optimal objective, so the player doesnt get lost.

This is supposed to be the first 30 minutes of the game, up until the player makes 500 gold. Which should end at buying the permit from permitius.

Let me hear your first impressions, maybe even UX, and QOL stuff.

Also current WIP stuff:

  • Taximus minigame of escape
  • Investment - High demand product news board
  • City filling with NPCs doing random stuff
  • Tutorial Level filling with NPCs outside the fence
  • Buying Fish permit and moving to game Stage 2
  • Buying Potion Permit and moving to game Stage 3
  • Intro Cinematic, Outro Cinematic

We should be all good. I moved the release date to end of august on steam page.
My wish is to get this 30 min demo transfered and played to you in the next 7 days so we can make the release. All systems are done, it's just some assembling for the playtime and Quality of life stuff, bugs.

Reminder: Please update the game before you start.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback!
