Global Protocol: New World Order Playtest · published · build 23277255
This update delivers significant Game Balance adjustments to the flow of conflict, a major fix for Unit Visibility on high-end builds, and deeper Simulation Optimizations.Warfare & Pacing Balance:
Cheaper Province Transfers: Reduced the diplomatic and war score cost for transferring provinces in peace treaties, allowing for more dynamic border shifts.
Shorter Truces: Decreased the default truce duration, enabling faster follow-up conflicts and a more active global stage.
AI Wartime Recruitment: The AI will now recruit forces faster during active conflicts to prevent rapid collapses and ensure more challenging frontlines.
Visuals & Rendering (IL2CPP Fix):
Marker Migration: Migrated army, fleet, and air wing markers to use Graphics.DrawMesh directly. This resolves a critical issue in IL2CPP release builds where unit markers could occasionally become invisible due to batching errors.
Visual Performance: Delivered general performance improvements to the political border rendering and glow effects.
Performance & Technical:
ECS Transformation: Continued the transformation of unit data structures into the Entity Component System (ECS) framework. This yields significant CPU overhead reduction during large-scale global wars with thousands of active units.
