Welcome one and all to the re-opening of the playtest! This chunky update introduces a new playable character: the Witch! For a more in-depth overview of the what, why and how of this character check out this post.
New playable character: Beatrix Chaudron, the Wandering Witch of the East.
Placing a card in the optional Force slot feeds her Cauldron, but destroys the card. The Force remains for subsequent spells but decays by 1 after you cast or end your turn.
The Cauldron has 2 slots with Boon & School for powerful double effect spells.
New card modifier: Indestructible cards. For now, it's only applied to the Witch's starting deck, but we plan to expand this into a secondary mechanic in the future.
New Common Sigil: Sigil of the Silver Spoon.
Oppipi and the Witch are now unlocked from the start for the purposes of playtesting.
Shield, Ward, Poison and Gold are now limited to 99.
Oppipi doesn’t start with the Sigil of Choice anymore.
Improved tooltips on spell slots.
Some small UI readability improvements.
Fixed monster’s attack tooltips showing 0 damage.
Damage tooltips properly update when you have Swole.
Further optimization and fixed issues related to the previous build’s optimization.
Buying a Sigil of Presents now doesn’t clip through the Shop UI.
Monsters don’t turn into fleas if they can still deal damage.
Card modifiers such as Ethereal and Brittle now properly show on all tooltips.
Fix crash on viewing a pile if there's 0 cards in it.
