Chess Town Demo – Update v1.0.5
A new update for the Chess Town Demo is now live!
This update focuses mainly on improving tutorials, clarity, and the overall new-player experience.
Changes & Fixes
Fixed an issue during the tutorial where skipping certain activities and only playing matches could cause the player to get stuck due to the time restriction.
Improved the explanation of the Evaluation Bar, making it clearer what it represents and how it works during a chess match.
Added clearer information about the Focus Point system, including a tooltip explaining what Focus Points are used for.
Improved the Decision Card tutorial. The game now better explains why some cards are unavailable and what conditions are required to use them.
Fixed an incorrect text on a Decision Card: “King Security” has been corrected to “King Safety.”
Improved the Construction minigame tutorial so players are encouraged to match the required colors instead of naturally trying to match only green pieces.
