Organized Chaos 0.1.11 - The Match Rolls On and Controllers Join the Party

Organized Chaos Playtest · published

The road through Organized Chaos is open again!

This update clears several gameplay blockers that could prevent matches from progressing through setup, transitions, board decisions, and minigame handoffs. Players should now have a much stronger path from choosing their crew to rolling, competing, and surviving the board.

🎮 THE FIRST CONTROLLER GUIDE UPDATE

This is the first playable version of the new controller-guided experience.

Controller assignment, verification, reconnects, lobby navigation, board decisions, voting, minigame selection, and supported minigames have all received major improvements. Mixed controller and keyboard groups also have stronger support.

Controller play is not perfected yet. Some screens, minigames, devices, and multi-controller combinations will still need refinement, but the new experience is ready for wider testing.

🛣️ TOLL AND ABILITY SPACES

Toll Spaces and Ability Spaces now have their first controller-guided pass. Their choices should be easier to navigate without returning to the keyboard.

These spaces are still evolving. Their controller navigation, clarity, balance, and presentation will continue improving over time.

Other improvements include:

• Repaired gameplay progression paths
• Stronger lobby start and ready checks
• Better player-input ownership
• Improved controller reconnect handling
• More dependable board and menu navigation
• Stronger voting and minigame transitions
• Expanded online, CPU, and Fortune Falls testing

Try completing a full match with a controller. Visit a Toll Space or Ability Space, enter a minigame, and let us know where the experience feels smooth or confusing.

The doors are open, the dice can roll, and controllers have officially joined the party.
