Swords And Magic: Path Of Conquest · published · build 24867304
Dear players, here is everything included in this update:
1. Skill Conditions
You can now add activation conditions to skills! For example: cast this skill when an ally's Health falls below 50%. 2. Dungeon Rework
The first dungeon has been completely rebuilt. It is now divided into three zones, each featuring its own unique monsters instead of mixing them all together. More than 50 mixed enemy combinations have been added! Defeat the boss of one zone to unlock the next. 3. Combat Roles & Break System
Six Combat Roles have been added, with each class able to choose from three relevant roles. Every role provides a unique effect and brings a different advantage to the party. The new Break System has also been introduced: enemies in the Break state take increased damage! 4. Battle Camera Controls
You can now hold the left mouse button to rotate the camera and drag with the right mouse button to pan it. 5. Hide UI
Press Alt + V to hide or show the UI. 6. Automatic Dungeon Exit
After a dungeon ends, whether in victory or defeat, you will automatically exit after 30 seconds. 7. Equipment
Added 297 standalone equipment pieces to expand build variety, including 25 Level 50 Epic weapons.
1. Potion Cooldown
Potion cooldowns have been adjusted to 20 seconds. Their previous frequency blurred the identity of dedicated healing roles. 2. Mana Costs
Skill Mana costs have been substantially reduced. The additional Mana cost per skill level has been reduced from +5% to +2%. 3. Character Stat Adjustments
Monster difficulty has been reduced significantly - by approximately 50% - and monster strength has been rebalanced across different party sizes. Healing from all skills has also been reduced, while summon damage has been slightly lowered. These changes make combat more manageable and give every class more room to fulfill its intended role. 4. Equipment Stats
Defensive equipment stats have been rebalanced. The maximum summon-count bonus available to the Necrosummoner has been lowered, Attack Power on leather armor has been increased, Weapon and Spell Critical Chance and Critical Power have been reduced across all equipment, and the distribution of Mana Regeneration equipment has been rebalanced. Some previous equipment values were no longer appropriate after the major reduction in monster strength, so they have been adjusted accordingly. 5. Attributes
The coefficient used to calculate Spell Resistance's chance to fully resist a spell has been reduced from 50% to 33%. Resilience now functions more like a shield: it no longer provides additional damage reduction, but it can be restored during combat and its maximum value can be increased. 6. Visual Quality
Visual effects have been improved, laying the groundwork for further upgrades. 7. Camera
The third-person camera in the overworld now has a wider field of view, with improved controls. 8. Mouse Cursor
The cursor is now hidden during third-person gameplay. It appears when you open the UI, and you can also hold Alt to reveal it. 9. Performance
Memory usage has been reduced by approximately 30% to 40%, FPS has been improved depending on your hardware, architecture-related issues have been fixed, and overall stability has been increased. I hope this update lets everyone enjoy a much smoother experience! 10. Damage Statistics
Poison damage dealt by Assassins and Rangers is now correctly included in damage statistics. 11. Skills
Reduced the damage of the Divine Saber's Divine Tempest and the Berserker's Whirlwind, and increased the Assassin's Stamina recovery. 12. Combat Text
Combat text now shows the exact amount of damage prevented by Spell Resistance, Poison Resistance, and Block.
Fixed an issue where an item placed in the middle transfer slot while trading could disappear after the UI was closed.
Fixed cases where the mouse cursor could leave the game window.
Fixed an occasional issue where the buff area on the target panel did not refresh correctly.
Fixed the third-person combat camera clipping through the ground.
Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash.
1. New Talents
More talents for existing classes, opening up even more build combinations! 2. New Classes
More classes are on the way! 3. Leader Skill Expansion
Leader Skills will be expanded across multiple gameplay systems and updated alongside new mechanics. 4. Quest System Overhaul
The Quest System is receiving a systematic overhaul. After a long period of refining the design, it can finally be scheduled for release. 5. Settlement Management
This will be a major expansion of the game's core systems. The world will no longer be filled only with wandering monsters, but with adventurers, residents, and creatures living across the land. You will be able to develop your own territory from the ground up, recruit members, and handle a variety of events. As night falls, your tavern will come alive, and a prosperous territory will attract unique adventurers to your banner, strengthening your warband!
Thank you all so much for your patience! This update certainly took longer than usual. I have read all of your suggestions: some have already made it into the game, while others are still in development, and I will continue adding them through future updates. Recently, I have also been playing several enjoyable auto-battlers and discovered many gameplay combinations I had never considered before. Some of them are genuinely exciting, and I plan to add my own take on them soon. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to share them with me on Discord or in the QQ group!
If you're enjoying the game, please consider leaving a review on Steam 😊 Even if you're not, I would still love to hear your honest feedback and learn what could be improved. It really helps me make the game better!
Reviews are currently my only way of getting the word out, so your support truly means a lot.
Thank you!
