preparation for the battles ahead.
Your army, your choices
- Auto Deploy now has an on/off switch, unit selection, and a gold reserve. Choose what it deploys
and how much gold to keep. - The automatic deployment system saves toward your selected units instead of repeatedly spending
their budget on cheaper troops. - Swap reserve units directly into a full army by selecting a replacement or dragging onto an
active unit. - Your chosen lineup and intentionally empty slots are preserved between waves.
A rebuilt War Council
- Direct tabs for Military, Economy, Fortify, Legacy, and Army.
- Cards and unit icons now fit on the book’s pages, with clear margins around the spine.
- Each page scrolls independently. Longer descriptions fit their cards, and unit names have more
room. - Unused rows no longer crowd out recruitment.
- Improved keyboard/controller focus when navigating pages and swapping units.
A stronger start and fairer dragons
- New runs start with 75 gold. Each of the first three victories grants an additional 60 gold in
supplies. - Smaller opening waves and slower enemy arrivals give you time to build your army.
- Random modifiers begin at wave 6; adaptive reinforcements are disabled for the first five waves.
- The first dragon deals 23 base damage before defensive reductions. Wards reduce damage further,
and going without one no longer summons an extra dragon. - Dragon Horn delays approaching or already visible dragons by 10 seconds.
Save your progress
- Continue your run from the main menu after closing the game.
- Between-wave saves preserve resources, upgrades, army order, and eligible surviving veterans.
- Leaving during combat lets you retry from the beginning of that wave.
- Older saves retain Skulls, Legacy upgrades, and purchased recruits. Saves now keep a backup.
Rewards and readability
- Boss gold correctly stacks with wave rewards and recruit or ability unlocks.
- Reward chests display the complete reward and wait for you to continue.
- Guided tips follow your actions, including your first deployment, victory, upgrade, and Legacy
purchase. - Improved translations for the updated controls and panels, with additional font coverage for
Latin, Cyrillic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text.
