Hello everyone!
Beta V0.63 introduces Time Mode: a new challenge where you solve as many shadow puzzles as possible before time runs out.
This update also improves menu navigation, visual feedback, scoring, and the presentation of your results.
Time Mode
- Added a new Time Mode featuring randomly generated shadow puzzles.
- Start each run with 60 seconds on the clock.
- Completing a puzzle adds more time:
- 2×2 puzzle: +5 seconds
- 3×3 puzzle: +15 seconds
- 4×4 puzzle: +50 seconds
Each cycle contains five puzzles for every available cube size.Generated puzzles become progressively more difficult after each completed cycle.Time Mode respects your progression and only uses cube sizes you have unlocked.Scoring and Statistics
- Each completed puzzle awards points, with larger cubes granting higher scores.
- Earn up to three stars based on your total score.
- The results screen displays completed levels, survival time, and total score.
- Added detailed statistics for your personal best, completed cycles, cycle progress, and completions with each cube size.
- Your best completed-level count is saved between runs.
Feedback and Presentation
- Added a new 3–2–1–GO countdown with visual and audio feedback.
- The timer changes appearance and begins ticking during the final ten seconds.
- Completing a puzzle now clearly displays how much time was added.
- Improved target-shadow and completion animations between puzzles.
- Added polished score reveals, star animations, and transitions for the results and statistics panels.
Menu and Controls
- Horizontal swipes now spin the cube in the menu with momentum.
- Cube selection is clearer, with non-selected cube buttons appearing desaturated.
- Removed the previous swipe-up gesture for changing cubes to make menu interactions more predictable.
