Brimir Update — Readable Telegraphs · Ranged Reach Fixed · Recommended Power Re-measured (v1579)
This build is mostly about one question: can you actually read what's happening on screen?
Your reports became the to-do list, almost line for line — the telegraph glyphs are invisible, I don't know what the bar colors mean, Alba never uses her Brand, and Bone Barrow and Bone Rain are impossible to tell apart.
⚠️ Enemy Attack Telegraphs — from letters to icons
- Telegraphs now use the same icons as your action bar. The old text glyphs included characters the font doesn't actually have — so of course they didn't show up. "The glyph is hard to see, so I end up judging by the range ring and the text color alone" was exactly right. Letters are now only a fallback, used when no icon exists.
🏹 Ranged Reach — the bug where your party order decided which skills worked
- This is why Alba never used Brand of Judgment. Back-line characters were standing anywhere from 400 to 580 units away depending on party order — and the Brand only reaches 400. In any formation where Alba stood at 580, it was simply out of range and never fired.
🎨 70 Skill Icons Added
- 70 skills that were falling back to a placeholder image now have icons of their own. They apply to both the telegraph and the action bar.
⚖️ Balance
- The Skeletal Wyvern loses Marrow Curse. With 12 patterns in its kit, "something got applied to me again" never registered. Trimming its vocabulary lets the rest of the kit be seen.
- The Skeletal Wyvern's Bone Pile is now Bone Barrow. Straight from your report that it was indistinguishable from Bone Rain by name.
