Statement on the Use of Art Assets in Promotional Materials and Related Updates

一次性扳机One-Time Trigger · published

Dear friends following One-Time Trigger,

Regarding the use of certain art assets in the recently released development log video (now taken down), we provide the following clarification:

During the early Game Jam prototyping phase of the project, some artwork created during external collaboration was utilized. These assets were not fully replaced in subsequent development and were inadvertently included in recent video materials intended to showcase progress.

Upon identifying this issue, we immediately removed the video and related promotional content, while simultaneously initiating a comprehensive self-review and replacement process.

The following steps are being taken:

  1. All promotional materials involving the relevant assets (including but not limited to the Steam page, promotional videos, and social media content) will undergo a complete replacement.

  2. Re-released content will exclusively feature independently created artwork or materials with explicit authorization.

  3. The official release version will not include any external resources with unclear ownership.

The replacement and update process is now fully underway. Content on our official channels will be prioritized for updates, and for materials pending platform review, we have submitted update requests and are actively following up.

We consistently value the rights of creators and content compliance. This issue arose from oversights in asset management, and we have since optimized internal processes to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Thank you for your supervision and understanding.

Sincerely,

Ruren Studio
