Patch 17a

Wyrd World · published

WHEW December has been busy so I haven't been able to progress development as much as i'd have liked to until now. Between setting up a new work station and getting crazy sick there wasn't much time to jump in and create. UNTIL NOW

This patch comes with a variety of content additions, bug fixes and overall style touch-ups. I have more in the pipeline that deserves better testing so it's not being uploaded here but I wanted to push out what there is since it has been a minute since the last one.

Fixed an issue with armor cosmetics not properly reflecting the player's gender.
Dwarven fortress now has a proper ascent leading up to it's entry way.
Upper stage of Wind's Perch also received an architectural rework
Fixed a collision issue with several cave interiors causing wonky collisions for the player.
Weather corrections for various friendly town buildings, no more leaks!
Fixed some subterranean points of interest protruding from the surface of the landscape.
Fixed an NPC spawner crashing the game (Weeee!)
Several floating buildings have had their foundations fixed.
Several floating npc's have been snapped back to reality
Several new friendly and hostile points of interest to discover in the map with new enemy types
Lightning spell got a very nice rework. It will continue to receive polish for balancing damage and player level, but that will come more with the class system when it's ready. I want different classes to have access to different types of spells and varying tiers of those spells to unlock as the player progresses, but more on that later.
Some friendly villagers have had their wardrobe selection refined so you should see less pantsless people wandering around town.

That's all for now but again this is just a small patch since I wanted to push out since it has been sometime between patches and my getting a chance to work. Thank you and stay tuned for more cool stuff.
