Update 0.1.16: movement fixes and a clearer start

Clipped Reality · published · build 25267538

Hey everyone, thanks for giving Clipped Reality a try and sharing feedback. I'm making my first game, and the feedback about movement helped me spot something I needed to fix.

Here's what changed:

  • A and D now move you sideways instead of turning you. The controller's left stick does the same, with the right stick handling look.
  • Diagonal movement stays at normal movement speed.
  • Mouse-look uses one input path at a time, and the control instructions now explain how to capture and release the mouse.
  • The first real radio in the Yellow Rooms is easier to spot when a suitable starting spot is available.
  • The Hound has a revised silhouette, tilted mask and new stitched details.
  • The HUD puts more focus on your next objective and removes repeated scanner status text.

Click inside the game to capture the mouse. Press Esc to pause and release it. For co-op, everyone needs to update before joining the same room.

If movement still feels off, please tell me whether you're using a mouse and keyboard or a controller, and what you were doing when it happened. That detail really helps me track it down.

Thanks for sticking with me while I improve it.
