Patch Notes – Sublight Demo 0.17.1

Features

  • Caches have received a few changes

    • Now have a label denoting specific rewards & minimum rarity.
      "Uncommon Weapons" - Drops only weapons uncommon or higher

    • Added uncommon and rare caches that give higher reward minimum qualities at a higher cost.

    • Internal logic for the loot pool has changed to fix a couple edge case bugs.

  • New Ship Name customization option.

  • Swapped the main Linux Graphics API to Vulkan.

    • This should fix a few rendering bugs, make the game run a little better on Steam deck

  • Additional Controller support has been added.

Changes

  • Calliope

    • Projectile travel time buffed to 2.5s.

    • Barrage weapons travel time is now buffed by projectile speed.

Fixes

  • Some crashes on Linux devices.

  • Fixed some issues with caches dropping weapons (By completely redesigning this)
