v0.3.0 Notes

Main World Revamp

The main world has been completely redesigned from the ground up implementing some new UE5 features that improve game experience and performance, allowing the creation of richer, larger worlds for you all to explore!

In-game performance should be drastically improved as a result of optimizing many core game systems. See more details about this in the v0.3.0 news announcement!

A companion has joined your quest!

You now have a companion that will assist you in combat. This is a toggle in the settings menu (for type and enable/disable) if you wish to travel alone.

Redesigned HUD

The player HUD has been redesigned and now has a design that is very creative and new and never before seen in any game! :)

New Abilities and Talents

Much of the player attack system has been reworked, improving preformance, gameplay experience, and ensuring combat is as satisfying as possible to flood your brains with as much dopamine as possible.

The talent system has been improved and expanded upon, offering more variety and new skills and ability upgrades waiting to be unlocked...

New NPCs and Enemies

Lots of new NPC types have been added to the game including Deer, Pig, Chickens, Bears, Rabbits, and more!

Additionally, enemy and NPC AI has been improved upon and should now feel more responsive and dynamic.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where you could use abilities while asleep, bugging out the player.
  • Fixed an issue with the player save/load process.
  • Adjusted the collision on a few models for better gameplay.
  • The pause menu no longer permanently blocks mouse click visibility after closing the menu.
