Blossom: The Seed Of Life · published · build 26400518
Version 2.1.0 is now live for Blossom: The Seed of Life 🌱
After 2.0 brought co-op, this update is all about how Blossom looks and feels: a new arrival on Mars, a redesigned UI, a new world edge and reworked animals.
New games no longer just start. Your ship now comes down from orbit, fires its engines and touches down on Mars before you take control.
Every screen and every HUD in the game has been redesigned.
New main menu, pause menu, settings, load/save and co-op screens, plus a new loading screen
New HUD with short action prompts that tell you why something is blocked, a new compass, notifications and terraform progress tracks
Every machine menu now uses one list and side panel layout. Switch tabs with Q/E or LB/RB
Reworked Database: one entry per machine family with a 3D model, print costs and stats
Animals now steer around obstacles, react to you and grow up from newborns, all with a brand new low-poly look matching the games art direction.
The red fog at the edge of the map is gone. It's now a dust storm that pushes you back, and new worlds end in a crater rim instead of sheer walls.
New Monitor and Resolution Scale (AMD FSR) settings
Take Output action for the Auto Crafting Station and Auto Refinery
Smoother first hours: the tutorial pins the recipe it asks you to craft
In co-op, target changes from several players now show live
Lots of bug fixes, memory leak fixes and faster loading
You can find the full patch notes in the Version 2.1.0 post.
As always, thank you for all the feedback and support ❤️ Many of the fixes in this update came straight from your bug reports.
See you on Mars 🌱
