Warpack 0.9.120

Balance: Second Sunrise revives the front five, stronger Chieftain and Bone King, five ascension sides rebuilt. Ranked runs count only against real opponents. UI polish.

Ladder

  • A ranked run counts for rating and a crown only when most of its fights are against other players' armies.
  • Every rival met lowers what a ranked run pays, at every rating.
  • The opening shop of a ranked run is pinned on its own. A casual fight no longer spends it, and a casual start never shows it.
  • Retiring a ranked run before its first fight costs a little rating. Closing the game and continuing later costs nothing.

Balance

  • The Chieftain's berserkers gain +30% damage and +20% max HP (was +25% and +15%).
  • The Bone King's bone constructs gain +12% max HP on top of their +2 armor.
  • Second Sunrise revives your five units nearest the enemy at the bell (was every unit).
  • Court of One is now Quick Study: the Lich's spell costs 35% less mana.
  • Master of Puppets: every skeleton the Necromancer raises gives it 6 mana (was: its skeletons rise again).
  • Shock Lancer: the Cavalier's first hit on each foe cannot be dodged, and still chills (was: its strikes bleed).
  • Earthshaker and Gore Horns crash 60% of the killing blow onto the two nearest foes (was 50% and 40% onto one).
  • The Goblin King's oath Sell six units is now Recruit fifteen units.
  • The Lich Lord's oath Raise ten bodies is now Cast thirty spells.

Interface

  • The ladder shows one more row, the rank crest sits with the rank, and the numbers line up.
  • The rank screen's cards sit side by side, as wide as the ladder.
  • The recipe book shelves three recipes a row and lights every token of the item you picked.

Fixed

  • Right-clicking an item offer freezes the shelf without opening the forge.
