ADDITIONS

New Paid Expansion - It Followed Me Home!

Set after the collapse of the Moleman industry following the destruction of their tech & leader, John Johnson has since returned home, finalizing his plan & gathering the necessary tools to pay a visit to the mysterious new lead on Creek.

  • Includes 18+ new levels set in fall (plus some secrets- I could never resist),

  • Acquired via the Park Shop after 10 Mega Treats have been collected,

  • New shop items such as the Lawnmower or Enleader,

  • New enemies like Slugward, Springy, and more!

  • Leaf Piles hiding stuff, Rope to climb down, Wind to push past... TRAINS!

  • And even more stuff...

Coop - Play Alongside a Friend!

How it works: You or a friend join one another & the host decides what levels to play. Both players make progress simultaneously on their selected profile. You can see one another, but cannot affect one another unless...

  • The Milkman - He is smart, elusive, and features a "clienthop" gimmick. When he feels threatened, he will leave your game & appear for your friend! Coordinate to defeat him!

  • Special Challenges - To unlock a new set of figurines, players must defeat the Milkman & finish his chosen level. After finishing some levels, the Milkman will retroactively appear in a completed level.

  • This content is doable in solo so as to not lock it into coop.

New Achievements!

The DLC will introduce some new achievements, but there will also be a couple more for the base game!

  • A Brick of Lead in Your Hat! - Taunt a Mean Boggie while he's slowed down by an Enleader purchased from Pedro's Shop.

  • Giant Piles of Bubblegum! - Collect all of the Slugward figurines.

  • Ha, You Missed Me! - Reveal a Slugward who evaded Fireworks by hiding.

  • I Can Finally Touch My Toes! - Collect all of the Springy figurines.

  • Maximum Overdrive! - Mow down twelve leaf piles while riding a single Lawnmower.

  • No Such Thing as Ghosts! - Collect all of the Charged Spooky figurines.

  • This Is Personal! - Ditch a Milkman who originated in your game on your coop partner by leaving the lobby.

  • This Would Go Great With Some Milk! - Either ditch a Milkman who originated in your game on your coop partner by leaving the lobby or scare the Milkman out of your own solo session.

  • Those Were Big Leaves! - Finish the final Fall level.

  • We Gotta Jump Off of Stuff! - Freeze a Springy while he's jumping.

  • Without Any Milk! - Defeat the Milkman in a solo or coop session.

  • You Want Me to Explode? - Defeat an enemy who can't respawn with Fireworks.

CHANGES

Credits

  • Updated

Items

  • Supernatural items now display a screen overlay to communicate time left before expiration.

Levels

  • Removed the need to dig while Spooky is chasing at the end of Terrible Tunnels.

  • Overhauled loadscreen visuals

  • Increased Freezphere time to be half of the normal duration instead of a third on Power Strider.

Map

  • It is now possible to hold RB or LB (arrow keys on keyboard, but clicking was always an option) to cycle through map selection instead of loading each one in between.

Sound

  • Lowered purchase sound volume.

BUG FIXES

Boggie

  • Fixed rare occurances where a Boggie may howl despite not being the final remaining Boggie. This is most noticeable on the level Infiniboggie (visible counter may still become incorrect though)

Enemy Respawn Points

  • No longer block the generation of frozen nor scaffold spaces.

Items

  • Random Purchase can no longer grant Golden Shovel, manifesting as an invisible Pocket Item without function.

  • In the specified scenario where the player brings a Compass pocket item into a level that already has a Compass, hints will no longer remain indefinitely upon Compass expiration.

Technical

  • Drastically improved level load times. This older the hardware, the bigger the boost.

  • Drastically improved pathfinding performance for Spooky, Rats, Ketchup Grandfather, and Smart Boggies.

  • Fixed game window going into fullscreen improperly when it isn't focused during launch. Now it launches in windowed mode & stays that way until the game is either refocused or fullscreen is manually toggled. It's not perfect, but this prevents the garbled mess from before in some circumstances.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • For some dang reason, the game can crash when loading into a map or level. It can happen twice in a day or once in two weeks. This doesn't hurt your save thankfully & I'm hunting this beast down.

  • In coop, Bonus levels & the secret level Five Boggies at the Factory don't complete for the first player who finished them, so therefor they don't get marked as complete. To circumvent, just reverse the order of players completing them. Still looking into it- gotta be something simple.

  • After your friend leaves your game & you decide to leave your profile as well, if you go to reselect a profile, there's a chance nothing will happen & the game would need to be restarted.
