Hey NIMRODS! Update 0.12.1 is here with new control options, balance changes, and a round of fixes and improvements. Check out the full changelog below!
Minor Features
Added a Drone Auto-Fire setting with a configurable hotkey and HUD indicator. It is enabled by default and can be turned off to stop your drone shooting while keeping its passive abilities active.
Added Move Up, Move Down, Move Left, and Move Right keybinding settings.
Balance
Rebalanced boss health for Queen Betty, Sir Beedevere, Gang Gang, Puff Puff, Mush, Sporocling, and Bzz.
Increased the health of the Kamikazees that Lord Waxboom spawns.
Rebalanced Umbral Magazine's bonus damage on marked enemies, including its interaction with Tenderizer.
Changed the Inertial Reactor line's Projectile Lifetime bonus from +1 second to +35%.
Changes
Movement keys can now be reassigned to other actions.
Augment tiers can now be purchased from the Arms Dealer once their blueprint is found, without needing to purchase the previous tier first.
Updated Umbral descriptions to clarify how often bonus damage can trigger.
Improved leaderboard score verification.
Magazine Size now displays fractional stat values, with an updated tooltip explaining how they round up to whole shots.
Penetration and Projectile Count tooltips now explain how fractional values grant a chance of an additional hit or projectile.
Clarified Explosion and Honey descriptions to better explain their effects.
Fixes
Fixed a crash that could occur when switching characters while sprinting or flying.
Fixed an issue where switching save slots could load the wrong keybindings.
Fixed an issue where disconnecting a controller or closing settings during key rebinding could cause errors or leave controls unresponsive.
Fixed an issue where keybinding conflict popups could become unresponsive after switching away from the game and returning.
Fixed an issue where saving or resetting keybindings could remove the middle-click ability binding in Mouse-Only mode.
Fixed an issue where controller vibration setting changes could stop taking effect after switching save slots.
Fixed an issue where DualSense controller vibration could remain active after taking damage.
Fixed an issue where Nova Stock and Supernova Stock flame projectiles ignored the Projectile Opacity setting.
Fixed an issue where slight analog stick input could interrupt D-pad menu navigation.
Fixed an issue where uncollected Gene Capsule map markers could disappear in subsequent runs after dying before collection.
Fixed the rotation and collision alignment of the flammable log in Twisted Tangle Maze.
Fixed an issue where the Crosshairs drone upgrade required a later Bzz defeat instead of the first to become available for purchase.
Fixed an issue where rapid reloads could repeatedly restart XP orb movement and prevent collection.
Improved stability during gun swaps, enemy deaths, and projectile and effect cleanup.
Fixed minor foliage placement issues on the map.
There’s still time to grab NIMRODS at 35% off! Our Endless Bloom sale ends on Wednesday, November 4 at 10 AM PT, and the price won’t be this low again during Early Access.
After the sale, the base price increases to $12.99 USD to reflect how much the game has grown, with regional prices based on Steam’s recommendations. If you already own NIMRODS, the price change won’t affect you.
If you’ve got a friend who’d enjoy NIMRODS, you can gift it to them on Steam before the sale ends. Endless Bloom’s Friends leaderboard could always use another rival and another kill count to beat.
Thanks to everyone who have been playing the Endless Bloom update ❤️
