A Red Specter Haunts the World · published
[Game Mechanics]
1. Previously, the status of armed forces was divided only into “Idle” and “Deployed.” It has now been changed to three statuses: “Idle,” “On the Move” (including “Mustering”), and “In Combat.” This makes the rate at which armed forces consume funds and supplies more reasonable.
[Red Gene]
1. Fundraising. The text now explicitly states that this bubble appears worldwide. I apologize to everyone for my mistake, which caused comrades to lose a significant amount of funding and led to frequent failures of uprisings.
2. Genes related to uprisings. The text now clearly states that this will immediately trigger the “Armed Struggle” status. The previous text led comrades to mistakenly believe that the “Armed Struggle” status would only be triggered after the formal uprising three days later, resulting in comrades failing to activate genes related to armed struggle during those three days. I take full responsibility for the failed uprisings and apologize to the comrades.
3. Publishing newspapers and distributing leaflets. This now reduces the cost of spreading ideology in cities, rather than being limited to Party members. The former has a broader scope; for example, armed forces will also benefit when spreading ideology.
4. Agricultural Tax and Commercial Tax. The text now explicitly states that these can be used to obtain funds and supplies from non-revolutionary civilians.
5. Emancipating the Mind. The text now explicitly states that the effect of this gene applies to the current continent.
6. Rationing System. This reduces the consumption of funds and supplies by armed forces on the march.
[Fixes]
1. When a tactic is triggered, a tactic animation plays. During this time, the tactic typically has a beneficial effect on the current battle; however, the effects of some tactics were not applying correctly. This has been fixed.
2. Engaging in combat would incorrectly trigger a tactic exactly once; this was due to a failed initialization of the Poisson process. This has been fixed.
3. Prisoner conversion contained invalid values during the initialization of the differential equation, making it impossible for prisoner conversion to succeed. This has been fixed.
4. The differential equation for funds and supplies erroneously started with a very large negative number during initialization, causing bases to be unable to produce resources normally for an extended period. This has been fixed.
5. When establishing the dictatorship of the proletariat in a country, the game would erroneously remain paused indefinitely. This has been fixed.
