There's a new colouring page dedicated to Daniel Dennett's take on the homunculus in the Cartesian theatre. "In the millennia-old quest to understand the mind, theorists have often succumbed to the temptation to imagine an inner agent, a little man - homunculus, in Latin - who sits in the control room in the brain and does all the clever work" (Dennett D., "Intuition Pumps").
Do you feel like a movie is constantly running in your mind? That's the Cartesian theatre! And then there should be a little human, a homunculus, inside your head, watching the movie. But how does this homunculus perceive the movie without having another homunculus inside its own head?
I've also added some new effects to the Orangery and started updating its UI to make it juicier and more toy-ish.
More updates to come!
Many thanks to the organizers of the Weird Days festival for hosting this update!
