Steam Deck & Linux
- Smoother camera on Steam Deck and Linux. Looking around in the dungeon could stutter badly, even when the frame rate was otherwise fine. Shadows are now handled more efficiently on Linux, so turning the camera should be noticeably smoother. Shadows look slightly softer as a result.
Starting a run
- Fixed a host sometimes getting stuck on the loading screen forever when Epic's online services were having trouble. The game now gives up after a short wait, tries a few more times, and if it still can't start the run, returns you to the main menu with a message instead of leaving you stuck.
- If Epic's services refuse to start a run, the message now explains that the service is temporarily unavailable instead of showing an error code.
Text
- Improved how formatted text is displayed in skill trees, notes, the codex and item descriptions. Some spacing and special characters that showed up wrong now display correctly.
