Hello, fellow cultivators! This update fixes map progress issues following 0.115, makes realm trait rerolls easier to access, and improves early progression, material sources and interface controls.
Map Progress Fixes
- Fixed one invalid map-progress entry causing the entire section to reset when loading. Invalid entries are now discarded individually to preserve the remaining progress where possible.
- Saves whose map progress was already reset will automatically regain the minimum progress that can be inferred from the protagonist's realm: the relevant map unlocks and necessary clears on earlier maps. This does not restore every historical highest floor; floors that cannot be inferred from your realm are not automatically filled in.
Realm Trait Rerolls
- You can now reroll directly beneath the selected trait on the Realm page, without requiring Scripture Pavilion level 1.
- Reroll and refresh prices use the character's current major realm, so traits from early realms no longer remain permanently cheap. The reroll price for the same trait slot is multiplied by 1.5 with each successive reroll; each successive refresh adds one base refresh fee.
Tutorial & Quests
- Fixed "Go" actions on tutorial cards and quests failing to enter a quest challenge while a guardian battle was underway. Failure messages now explain the issue instead of showing internal error codes.
- "I Want to Get Stronger" now prioritizes taking Cultivation Pills or brewing them based on what you have. Breakthroughs remain the first recommendation when available. Stuck-progress tips repeat less often and avoid interrupting other pages.
- Quests for locked maps stay hidden until those maps unlock. Floor-progression quests now complete correctly if you have already cleared their target floor.
- New games default automatic selling to Common equipment only, reducing early Bag clutter. Existing saves keep their settings.
- Improved tutorial tip placement, sizing and timing. Starting a new game no longer incorrectly says it is loading a save.
Material Sources & Later Maps
- Regular map battles now provide the hides and ore needed for shipbuilding, restoring a previously missing source.
- Added source information for materials in the Bag, Alchemy, Forge, artifact, Bestiary and shipbuilding interfaces. Unavailable shipbuilding actions explain the required map and floor.
- Later floors of maps 6 and 7 are harder. On map 6, enemy health increases gradually from floor 51: about 1.36 times the previous health at floor 100, 1.84 times at floor 150, and 2.5 times from floor 200 onward. Map 7's later floors reach about 1.3 times the previous health. Maps 8 and 9 are unchanged. If you are stuck midway through map 6, consider idling on a lower floor to gather resources and improve your build.
Equipment, Forge & Responsiveness
- Long equipment tooltips can be scrolled again while the pointer is over the item slot or tooltip. Clicks still pass through, and short tooltips leave scrolling to the list underneath.
- Further improved equipment changes, ally selection and technique equipping. Fixed portraits suddenly zooming in after a gear change and weapon quality frames expanding over the character.
- Removed the redundant five-member selector from the Forge. "Equipped" shows gear worn by the whole party, and refining uses the item's actual wearer.
- Reforge, Enchant, Combine and gem action buttons now become available when you obtain enough coins or materials.
- Left-clicking a manual or technique slot switches to the corresponding list. Fixed newly recruited party members appearing as dim empty slots on the Realm page.
- When the equipment Bag is full, Shop equipment purchase buttons now say "Bag Full" and explain that space is needed. Long resident and visitor names no longer stretch their frames; hover to read the full name.
- Bag slots separate the tier in the upper-left from the quantity in the lower-right. Large quantities use abbreviations, with full counts available on hover.
Combat & Endless
- Changing maps or floors, or returning to town during Endless, now handles pending results or asks you to confirm retreat before proceeding, rather than simply rejecting the action.
- Combat power now accounts for some previously omitted skill, talent and damage-over-time effects, better reflecting your build. This does not mean every party's actual damage has increased.
- Fixed refreshed technique damage-over-time effects extending their icons without restoring their remaining damage ticks.
- Fixed the equipment effect that stacks active-skill costs by up to 90% failing to reset between floors or after a party wipe.
- Fixed gem sets incorrectly repeating opening effects or resetting counters and cooldowns after revival, and opening shields triggering twice when a wipe sent the party back a floor.
- Reduced repeated calculations in enemy spawning and technique equipping. Performance work continues.
Crafting & Messages
- Fixed rapid clicks on furnace upgrades or changes potentially submitting repeated actions.
- At the coin cap, sale messages now show the amount actually credited and explain any excess that was not credited.
Music & Localized Interfaces
- Updated several background tracks and notification sounds. Town keeps its original melody in a newly edited loop.
- Improved long localized names, dropdowns, Tavern skill names, Bestiary and Achievement labels, talent details and technique grids to reduce clipping, cramped layouts and inconsistent font sizes.
- Completed new prompts and descriptions in nine additional languages and corrected missing or mixed-language text.
Thank you for your feedback. We will keep improving the game!
