Grindwick - Patch note 0.1.9

Grindwick · published · build 26375110

This is the second of three maintenance periods related to preparing the server for the 1.0 version of the game.
The next two changes introduce certain server-side options that may potentially cause lag or disconnects. Because of this, I decided to split the work into three separate stages, making it much easier to identify exactly when and where any problems appear.

Herbalism: added a new skill and Focus Flowers that can be gathered during expeditions. Each gathered flower grants Herbalism experience. The chance to gather two flowers at once increases from 5% to 25% as the skill level increases.
New NPC - Herbalist: exchanges 2 Focus Flowers for 1 Focus Potion. Turning in flowers increases your Herbalist rank, providing up to a 5% discount on potions purchased with gold from the merchant.
More loot: base global drop chances for Magic, Epic, Legendary and Mythical Remnants have been increased tenfold. The chance to obtain an Ascendant Shard in God Mode has also been increased. This is a temporary Early Access buff, as I need more server data to make future balancing easier and more accurate.
Build saving: added a passive tree build library with support for saving, loading, importing, exporting and deleting saved configurations.
Character progression planning: loaded builds can now be previewed before applying them and adjusted to the number of passive points currently available. The full planned build remains highlighted, making it easier to continue developing the character later.
Passive Tree Planner on the website: added an interactive passive tree with search, undo functionality, and build importing/exporting for use in the game.
Grindwick Builds: added a public community build library with publishing, downloading, likes and filtering by categories such as combat style and character level.
Quick commands: pressing the middle mouse button now opens a communication wheel with: "GO", "WAIT", "BACK", "HELP!" and "FOLLOW ME". Messages appear above the character in each recipient's selected language.
Void Trials titles: Top 100 players receive colored titles displayed below their names in the hub. The top three positions are additionally distinguished by animated glow effects.
Equipment comparison: hovering over an item in the backpack now allows you to compare it with the currently equipped item, including upgrade levels.
Clearer statistics: added descriptions, formulas and examples explaining how character statistics work.
Teleportation: added an option allowing teleportation in the direction opposite to the mouse cursor.
Gathering effects: added visual and sound effects when gathering flowers and catching fish. Visual effects can be disabled in the settings.
UI improvements: improved window shortcut handling and item tooltips. Information about additional basic attack hits has been moved to the Skills tab, and a fish price list has been added to the Fisherman.
Map Catalog: added a location browser to the website with recommended level, unlock cost, party requirements and a list of monsters found in each location.
Rankings: added pagination and highlighting for the first-place player. Characters with an active permanent restriction are excluded from rankings.
Death and respawn fixes: improved the display of dead characters and party recovery after defeat. Dead players are moved to the shrine and cannot use portals before respawning.
Login: added information about the planned progression reset at the 1.0 release, requiring a one-time confirmation on each device.
Moderation: added tools supporting player observation and the analysis of suspected botting.
Added another BIG Easter Egg. "What's up with that dummy?"
