Terran Dawn 0.6.2 — Campaign, Fleet & Interface Improvements

Terran Dawn · published · build 26369574

Update 0.6.2 refreshes campaign presentation, improves ship behaviour, and makes training and fleet management easier to follow.

  • Campaign presentation: Redesigned mission briefings and decision screens across all five campaigns, with 80 distinct choice illustrations. Improved character video panels, subtitle readability, and final-caption timing.
  • Navigation and mining: Fixed gate travel orders, improved routing through active gate shortcuts, and resolved miners getting stuck or oscillating around asteroid clusters.
  • Escorts and defence: Improved campaign convoy behaviour and objective markers. Limited autonomous pursuit so idle defenders return home, and increased base and defence turret sight ranges.
  • Survival mode: Upgrades now appear after the entire wave is defeated. Gameplay pauses during upgrade voting and results, with clearer, localized dialogs.
  • Clearer fleet visuals: Added distinct selection markers for combat, support, and civilian ships. Improved scaling and visibility of ship role and status icons.
  • Training: Added clearer objective guidance and highlights throughout the lessons. Fixed outpost completion after automatic attacks, and separated skipping training once from permanently disabling tutorial prompts.
  • Interface and controls: Improved UI scaling and pointer accuracy on high-resolution displays. Fixed stuck Alt camera panning, clarified camera indicators, and added hover and activation sounds.
  • Graphics and assets: Added configurable atmospheric background planets, a Custom graphics profile, and GPU-aware first-launch defaults. Corrected Terran and Voidborn base module connections and Terran missile turret geometry.
