Adventure is here — co-op waves, fixes and a much smaller install

Catch The Ducks · published · build 26370399

Adventure is now available in Special Modes!

Play solo or with up to 4 players through 9 increasingly difficult waves of skeletons, infected ducks and three different giant bosses. Fight with the red propulsion cannon, earn CuackCoins and buy temporary speed, jump, shield, health and damage upgrades between waves.

Late arrivals and defeated players enter when the current wave ends. If the whole team falls, including in solo play, Adventure automatically restarts after a 5-second countdown. Waves also have a 6-minute limit so a missing enemy cannot leave the match running forever.

Fixes and performance
- Improved enemy visibility and mesh restoration when enemies are reused.
- Corrected enemy approach distance so pursuing groups can reach and damage players.
- Removed a reference duck that was accidentally left in the Adventure map.
- Restored the HUD, camera and controls correctly after death and respawn.
- Reduced repeated AI physics queries, spread out jump planning and prepared enemy models before combat to reduce spawn hitches. Enemy counts and difficulty settings are unchanged.

Much smaller install
The Windows installation is reduced from about 8.6 GB to about 1.0 GB by changing how animation frames and game data are stored. This does not lower the original animation resolution or graphics-quality settings. The estimated Steam update download from the previous public build is about 723 MB.

Your progress stays with you
Existing local progress, CuackCoins, purchased cosmetics and unlocks are retained. No progress reset or manual deletion of saved data is required.
