Roadworks, congestion and closures appear in color on the map and area overview.
Click a marker to open the traffic event. “Show on map” takes you directly from the journal to its location.
Simulated congestion affects travel times and diversions. You can set the number of congestion events in the simulation settings. No live traffic data is used.
The new “Traffic” map filter shows or hides these markers.
Automatic fire alarms
Automatic fire alarms immediately include the premises address and map location.
“Accept fire alarm” takes you straight to dispatching. A fire engine investigates the initially unknown cause on scene.
Radio and speech
The optional “Radio voice effect” adds a speech filter and brief squelch sounds to radio messages.
Vehicles receive consistent voice profiles. Callers take priority over queued radio messages.
Speech uses locally installed Windows voices.
Extra fire engines
Newly generated fictional starting fleets receive one extra HLF at each identified professional fire station, plus one geographically distributed LF per four volunteer stations, rounded up.
Existing saves and imported fleets remain unchanged.
Improvements
Vehicle overview
Vehicle and radio lists show the incident, confirmed address and assignment status.
An incident filter and direct access to the incident file make it easier to keep track.
Tasks
Task cards show the next action directly. Further explanations are available under “Details”.
“Confirm review” identifies automatic reminders, while “Done” is used for your own reminders.
Patients and incident completion
Patients show their destination hospital, transport stage and specific obstacles.
The incident file explains what is preventing completion and takes you to the relevant next step.
Saved games
Older saves from versions 2 to 8 can still be loaded.
New saves use version 9 and cannot be opened by older game versions.
Bug fixes
Interrupted hospital journeys can be resumed with “Retry route” once a valid route is available. The patient and destination hospital are preserved.
Hospital pre-alerts for mass-casualty incidents account for places already reserved. Automatic care coordination looks for a suitable available alternative when needed.
Route messages identify unknown overhead clearances more precisely. Direction-specific height limits are taken into account correctly.
When vehicle profiles are disabled, local diversions also use the comparison car profile. Closures and access rules still apply.
A successful route recheck clears the waiting period for available vehicles. They can then be dispatched again.
Disabled speech remains disabled after loading. Muting and loss of focus also stop speech that is already playing.
Older saves receive missing automatic fire alarm premises addresses without overwriting confirmed address corrections.
