Update: Clearer Debriefs and Better Shift Loading

DispatchControl · published · build 26203284

A new Dispatch Control update is now available on Steam. It makes completed incidents easier to review and gives you more control when loading saved shifts.

Clearer incident debriefs

  • A new timeline shows call acceptance, dispatch and the first arrival, including the recorded intervals.
  • “What went well”, “Where time was spent” and “Next step” summarize the incident and provide guidance for your next shift.
  • Feedback is based on recorded events. Missing timestamps remain clearly marked, and longer travel times are not automatically treated as avoidable delays.
  • The full review and existing scoring remain available.

More control when loading

  • A dedicated loading screen shows the current step and elapsed time.
  • Saved shifts and road networks are checked in the background. The loading screen also remains responsive while waiting for an autosave to finish.
  • Select “Cancel loading” or press Escape to return to your previous shift. File operations already in progress finish before cancellation completes.
  • If checking the save or backing up the current shift fails, your previous shift is preserved.

The new displays are available in German and English and adapt to smaller windows and larger text.

Availability: These changes are available on both the default branch and the public-beta branch (build 26203284).

Thank you for your feedback, and good luck on your next shift!
