Before this update, one of our players sent us a list. Scrolling the street with the mouse wheel moved the person you'd picked instead of the page. A card about a lot slid under the feed and the words ran into each other. The gold stretch on the price bar was a sliver he couldn't read. He couldn't find a way to lower scrutiny. Making his own sneakers, the price got stuck at $1.1K. And his last note was simple: "the whole list interface is not the greatest."
He was right on every count, so Build 18 fixes all of it and rebuilds the screen you spend most of the game on.

Today's walk-ups sit as shoeboxes on shelves. Each box has the person's polaroid taped to the lid and the pair sitting on the rim, with a sticker that says BUY, SELL or LOT and the size. A lot is a stack of boxes. When you finish a deal the lid goes on and the box gets taped and stamped. If someone beats you to it, the stamp says who.

Late in the game you can have 30+ people on the street. The wall now adds boxes per shelf and shrinks them so it never needs more than three shelves, and never slides under the counter. Every row of buttons in the game shrinks to fit its space, so none of them can run off the screen or under another button.

The end of the day prints out like a receipt, line by line: what you sold, what you bought, what it cost you, and what the day was worth. Keep the receipts.

The game now opens with a short intro: shoeboxes fly across the screen, the letters of the name drop in one at a time, and the menu pops up under a turning grail. Any key skips it.
O'BLOCK has one verb: you name a price. Everything else on screen exists to help you read the street before you do. A list of text rows made you read everything to find anything. A wall of boxes lets you see the whole street at a glance: who's selling, who's buying, what's a lot, what's already gone. The deal itself didn't change. How fast you can make a good one did.
It also came straight from a player. If something in the game annoys you, tell us in the discussions. One player's list turned into this update in a day.
O'BLOCK is free. If you want to back it, the Complete Supporter Pack is $4.99: the soundtrack, wallpapers, the producer kit and more.
