Dark Roll 2 is rolling into Steam Next Fest with fresh challenges, and somewhere you probably weren’t supposed to end up. The demo has been updated!

Welcome to “The Lost Rooms”

No goal. No exit. No particular reason to feel comfortable.

This new bonus map invites you to explore an unfamiliar liminal space, where the rooms feel almost ordinary and the whole place feels slightly wrong. There’s nothing to win here. Take a look around. Stay a while. You weren’t going anywhere anyway.

There’s even an achievement for exploring The Lost Rooms and finding their secrets, because apparently wandering around somewhere deeply questionable deserves recognition.

I’ve replaced three demo levels with three different ones to give you a taste of new mechanics and fresh challenges. If you’ve already mastered the previous layout, it’s time to put that confidence somewhere dangerous.

The three removed levels will return in the full game. They’re just sitting this round out, presumably enjoying your temporary absence.
