Demo update 0.0.10634: VÍBORA gets a special move

"What's special about each snake?" came up a lot in your feedback. Here's the first answer.

New: LUNGE

VÍBORA now has a special move. Hit , click the mouse wheel, or pull LT on a controller, and your snake rockets forward straight through the horde. Nothing can touch you while you lunge, so it's your way out when the swarm closes in. Anything in your path takes a hit on the way.

LUNGE has its own trail, its own hit flash and its own sound, so you'll feel it when it lands.

New: the special bar

There's a new bar under your stamina with three notches. Kills with your weapons fill it, and each LUNGE uses one notch. You start every run with one notch ready to go.

The other snakes show COMING SOON on their card for now. Their specials arrive in version 1.0.

Quality of life

• The Nest: the arrow keys and the controller now move you to the next node on that side. No more hunting around the tree.

Fixes

• First launch: on a brand new profile, the game was stuck at 30 FPS and the starting items were missing. Fixed.
• Oaths: the first-time help closed itself the moment it opened. Now it stays so you can read it.
• End of run: when you died or won, the game kept running the rest of that frame. Fixed.
• BAN IT: the button showed up on level-up picks you couldn't actually ban. Fixed.
