New Tornado Toggle
The main menu now offers an "Enable Tornado" option, checked by default. When disabled, no tornado will spawn in the current run, and its progress and warning indicators will be hidden.
Updated Tornado Mechanics
After reaching 1,000 m of flight distance, the tornado appears from behind and continuously chases you based on the distance gap. It is not an instant-death hitbox that ends your run on contact; it is a relentless pursuer that keeps compressing your reaction space until you run out of lives. The real pressure comes from how it combines with obstacles and speed, not from a single sudden failure.
The Three Stages
Stage
Trigger
Behavior
Player Feedback
Normal Pursuit
After the tornado appears
Starts at base speed and gradually accelerates over time, but is capped (x1.4)
Constant pressure, but the pace remains manageable
Enraged (3s)
When you open a large gap from the tornado (300 m)
Brief high-speed sprint (x2.3)
A lead does not mean safety—stay focused
Exhausted (5s)
When the tornado closes in, or after the player is hit (20 m)
Noticeably slows down and falls back for a while (x0.5)
Clear "escape successful" feedback and a short breather
In practice, this creates the following loop:
Normal pressure → open a gap and enrage the tornado → it closes in, overextends, and becomes exhausted → pull away again → the chase begins again
Speed Mechanics
The plane's base flight speed increases as you progress (+20f). Crashing reduces the base flight speed (-40f).
Controls and Handling Improvements
Gamepad left stick and D-pad are supported.
Nitro boost can be activated by holding gamepad B or the right trigger (RT).
Controller vibration stops immediately when the controller disconnects or the game is paused, preventing the motors from spinning continuously.
The left stick no longer jumps to full speed as soon as it leaves the dead zone. A light push allows fine adjustments, while a full push gives full speed. Diagonal movement is now normalized, so it is no longer faster than straight movement.
Rearview Mirror Improvements
The rearview mirror fades in when the tornado enters the warning range and fades out when it leaves. Separate distances are used for showing and hiding it to prevent flickering at the edge of the range.
Other Changes
The spawn rate of health recovery pickups has been increased to 20% (they will not appear when health is full).
