You can now share Permafrost co-op worlds and seamlessly transfer the host (host migration). Everyone in your group can keep playing the same world when the original host is offline, and each player keeps their own character.
Permafrost stores one host record plus one record per player (keyed by Epic ID). If you zip your world and send it to a friend, whoever loads it as host takes over the host slot, so they end up playing as your character.
When a friend activates the world to host it, SaveSync points the host slot at their own character and keeps the world's player-built structures. Everyone keeps their own character, whoever hosts.
Note: the new host must have launched Permafrost and joined that world at least once. If they haven't, SaveSync warns them: join the previous host's world once to create your character, then activate the save to host it yourself.
