Single Player Mode & New Map: King of the Tower!

A new way to play solo, and a battle for the summits where your role can change!

This major update introduces Single Player mode and a new map: King of the Tower.

Single Player — Jump In on Your Own

Play rounds with NPCs without waiting for other players. Select Play Single from the main menu, choose your map and participant setup, and get started.

• Four supported maps: Desert, Basecamp, Maze, and King of the Tower.

• 1–50 NPCs: Choose how many NPCs join your round.

• Choose your role: Play as a Runner or Sniper in Desert, Basecamp, and Maze.

• Customize your round: Adjust the time limit and map-specific objectives and settings.

Single Player results do not count toward cumulative wins or Steam leaderboards. Learn the maps and try different setups at your own pace.

New Map — King of the Tower

Twelve towering structures, with bridges connecting their summits. Climb with your Grappling Hook, claim the supplies at the top, and compete for the most eliminations.

Everyone starts as a Runner. Use a Grappling Hook with unlimited uses to climb from ledge to ledge and reach the summit.

• Summit supplies: Each tower summit has a Supply crate. Consumed crates are replaced after 30 seconds.

• Changing roles: Each crate has a 50% chance to transform you into a Sniper. Other crates grant different Supply effects.

• Temporary Sniper power: The default transformation lasts 60 seconds. Survive until it expires to return to Runner and regain your Grappling Hook.

• Compete for eliminations: The participant with the most eliminations when time runs out wins. At least one elimination is required, and ties for the highest positive score share victory.

Death respawns you as a Runner, while your elimination count is retained. Rounds last 15 minutes by default. The time limit and Sniper transformation duration can be adjusted in the map settings.

King of the Tower is available in both multiplayer and Single Player. In Single Player, everyone also starts as a Runner, with Supply crates changing roles during the round.

To play solo, select Play Single from the main menu.

To compete with friends, select King of the Tower as your room's map.

Climb the towers, claim the supplies, and survive the battle at the top!
