Version 1.4 never came out, so this covers everything since 1.3.0 in one go. It is the biggest update so far: the matchday is now a real 3D broadcast.
The old 2D view is gone. Stadium, crowd, floodlights and weather are now built in 3D. You choose between the TV director and four fixed cameras, plus replays and lower thirds for goals, cards and injuries.
The broadcast runs fullscreen. You expand the broadcast controls when you need them, and a ticker bar with the ticker and stats runs along the bottom.
Your stadium visibly grows with every expansion, roof and floodlights included. The light shows before the match and after home goals can be switched off.
Despite the 3D, the matchday runs smoother than before. On my machine, the same match at the same resolution now reaches 72 instead of 32 frames per second.
Every player has their own face with hairstyle and beard. You now also see that face as a picture in the squad, on the transfer market and on the tactics board.
The movements come from almost 4,000 recordings: first touch, pass, shot, header, tackle, saves and celebrations. On top of that come the walk-out with hand slaps, medics for injuries and players warming up on the touchline.
Too many goals were scored and too few matches ended in a draw. Both are now calibrated against real seasons: in the top division there are 2.8 goals per game instead of 3.4.
On the ball, players decide by patterns from real matches, and strength and traits count in that. Penalties and free kicks now come out of an attack, no longer out of nowhere.
High pressing changed nothing about the result. Now it brings strength and costs fitness, and low pressing does the exact opposite.
The tactics board is new. Every player marker shows picture, strength and fitness, the bench and the reserve stand on the touchline, and everything fits on one page without scrolling.
The campus shows seasons, weather and night, and the surroundings match your nation.
Relegation and promotion play-offs are now real matches over two legs.
AI clubs now really make substitutions, injured players first. Before, that was only a calculation bonus.
Large savegames could crash the game while saving. Now it saves in parts and with a checksum.
Balance and forecast in the finances were too good because the staff was missing.
40 achievements instead of 15, and the soundtrack grows from 24 to 39 tracks.
The 3D view requires WebGL 2.
