Hello, this is the developer of ForgeTax.
This hotfix addresses a progression lock after high-value tribute and improves sword physics and relic effect displays.
Progression and controls
- Fixed an issue where offering an extremely valuable sword could leave progression stuck at the relic selection screen after settlement.
- Improved collision handling to reduce swords on the floor continuously shaking or pushing each other around.
- Reduced cases where duplicated swords spawn overlapping walls or nearby objects.
- Adjusted movement to stop more immediately when you release the movement key, and reduced large jumps in movement after a brief frame delay.
Current-sword draw tickets and relic effect displays
- Improved the wall's draw-ticket display so you can distinguish added and removed tickets that apply to the current sword on the anvil.
- King's Empty Cup now distinguishes the Great tickets added by the current activation from the accumulated total.
- Blind Die separately displays the 3 Great tickets that apply to the next strike, making its effect easier to distinguish from other relics.
- Broken Holy Sword and Dawn Scabbard now display the enhancement levels and Frenzy charges inherited by a new sword.
- Scorched Charm now displays its current stack count when its effect actually gains a stack.
- Improved the display area to prevent relic activation text from being cut off across multiple languages.
Draw tickets show the number of tickets used in the draw. You can check the final enhancement probabilities on the anvil's probability display.
Starting relic choice and other changes
- Replaced Leather Loop with Undertaker's Chalice in the starting free-relic pool. Leather Loop still appears in the regular relic shop.
- Refined the artwork that shows the dragon's warning count.
Thank you for reporting problems and sharing your experiences. I am checking whether reported issues can be reproduced alongside actual play records as I work on improvements.
