DEMO HOTFIX #3 — v0.0.4 🔧

Groovekeeper · published

Hotfix #3 for the Groovekeeper Demo is now LIVE!

This update focuses primarily on save reliability and protecting your progress, along with an important improvement to make sorting records clearer.

Save System Improvements

  • Improved the overall save system and autosave reliability
  • Added additional save validation when exiting the game
  • If a save fails while exiting, the game will now prevent the exit instead of risking lost progress
  • A clear "Game Saved" notification is now shown after every successful save

Your existing saves are fully compatible with this update.

If you already played the demo, you can update the game and continue exactly where you left off.

Clearer Record Sorting

We’ve also added a genre label to the currently selected record in the held-record list.

You’ll now be able to immediately see whether the record in your hand belongs to Rock, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop or another genre, while still having to find the correct section of the shop yourself.

This change came directly from player feedback and should make the sorting experience much clearer without taking away the core gameplay.

Keep the Feedback Coming

Thank you to everyone who has been playing the demo and sending us bug reports, suggestions and feedback.

We’re reading them and continuing to polish the demo ahead of Steam Next Fest, October 19–26.

If you notice anything else that feels unclear or doesn’t work as expected, please keep using the in-game feedback tool and let us know.

Thanks for playing!

Keep groovin’,
