v0.3 Build 5

Danger is back

  • Enemy waves are spawning again. The city is more dangerous to move through now, so go carefully.
  • Dead Men now roam the streets near the start. They fade out as you move away and return as you approach.
  • Once your Haven, Greenhouse and Water Filtration are all built, squads will be sent at your Haven every couple of minutes.
  • Scavenging attracts fewer encounters: about 10% for enemies and 15% for survivors.

MirrorNet

  • Relay Node conversion now unlocks through the Tech Tree. Research the Relay Node Conversion entry first. It costs 100 scrap.
  • Repairing a relay back to Online plays a construction dust effect.
  • Recon drones now drift toward the first relay you bring online.
  • The Tech Tree shows each entry's type and a research progress bar that fills as it runs. The panel closes when a recovered lore entry starts playing.

Survivors

  • Return to Haven now sends your whole selection.
  • Survivors you've ordered somewhere will fight back, or flee, when a living enemy starts hitting them, after a short grace period.
  • Healing no longer drops the healer out of your control.
  • Survivors no longer say "Yeah?" if you click during cutscenes and dialogs.
  • The number of non-Haven survivors in the world is now capped at 20, so far fewer fill the streets.

Fixes

  • Fixed an intermittent error at game start.
  • Fixed Dead Men not being recycled after they died.

Known issue

  • Street lights are missing in some areas.
