Thanks for all your support and feedback on the demo! Today's update overhauls the graphics settings, improves indoor shadows, adds a floating mini Pomodoro timer, and brings a round of tweaks to several panels. Here's what's new:
Graphics & Performance
- Graphics settings overhaul: added three presets (Low, Standard and Ultra), with per-option adjustments available under "Quality details". Render scale can now be set anywhere from 50% to 200%.
- Improved indoor shadows on sunny days and at dusk: they're now sharper and more stable on every preset. Also fixed shadow flickering at lower settings.
- The Low preset now puts about 20% less load on your GPU, making it easier to leave the game running on lower-end PCs.
- Plants no longer sway in the wind on the Low preset, keeping shadows and frame rates stable.
Pomodoro & UI
- New: floating Pomodoro timer. Click the button in the top-right corner of the card or press M to shrink the timer into a small floating ball; click it or press M again to bring it back. The minimized state is remembered the next time you launch the game.
- New: press H to hide/show the entire UI, same as the eye button in the bottom-right corner.
- Music panel: click the cover art or song title to play/pause.
- Plans panel: new plans now keep the category, unit and due date you last entered; pressing ESC while the calendar pop-up is open now closes only the calendar; long plan titles are now consistently truncated with an ellipsis.
- Calendar timeline cards now have a uniform height instead of stretching with duration.
- Unsubmitted text in a new Inspiration entry is now preserved.
- Weather unlocks: prices are now shown even when you don't have enough points, along with a "Not enough points" notice.
- Other UI polish, including the close animation for confirmation dialogs, background dimming when menus are open, and the removal of unnecessary hover tooltips in Settings.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed various issues with character animations, the Plans panel and more, and filled in missing UI translations.
This update does not affect your existing focus records, plans or game progress.
