Three releases today. Swahili is complete, The Guide gets its second part, and the Spanish course gets a voice from Spain.
Swahili is complete. Swahili Pareto 1 and Pareto 2 join Swahili Core: 3,000 words and 49 lessons. As promised, every card speaks real vocabulary in your learning language, in all six interface languages: a card says "lion", "Löwe", "león", "ライオン", "狮子" or "лев", and in a boss fight your master gives you the old riddle as a hint. Every noun carries its noun class, and the revision games are Swahili's own: noun classes, the verb builder, plurals and dictation.
The Guide Part II: the complete monsters and spells addition. 925 more cards for game masters: spells from cantrips to level 9, creatures from familiars to ancient dragons, and magic items from potions to artifacts. Like The Guide, it has a full German edition and plays in Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Russian with English answers and a translation toggle.
Voice: Castilian Spanish (M). Spanish as it sounds in Spain, reading every Spanish card: you'll hear the distinción, the soft "th" in cielo and zapato. It takes over as soon as it is installed, and you can switch back any time in Help & Options → Preferences → Audio & Voice Settings. The cards stay as they are: the course teaches Latin American Spanish, with Spain's own words marked in the notes.
Voice packs fixed. If you owned a voice pack and still heard the built-in voice, that's fixed: an installed voice now takes over on its own, as it always should have. A voice you choose yourself in Preferences stays chosen.
Bundles out now. Three new bundles are out, each with the base game included. Compared with buying every item separately, FlashBoss Swahili — The Complete Course saves you 25%, FlashBoss Spanish (Castilian) — The Complete Course 30% and FlashBoss: The Guide — Complete 40%.
Still in the running for the TOMMI 2026. FlashBoss is nominated for Germany's children's and youth software award, in the youth education category. Until mid-November, children and teenagers in around 40 public libraries in Germany and Austria play every nominee and vote for the winners, who are announced on Sunday, 6 December, at 20:00 German time, on KiKA. Thank you to the jury, and to every one of you who has been studying with us.
Best wishes with your learning endeavors.
