Preparations for the upcoming Norway expansion are well underway. To compliment the new area coming soon, some important additions have been made in today's update.
Changes in build 21.09.28.1:
- Completely remade perk selection UI at the start of the game.
- Added "Eyvind" encounters that allow the player to choose an additional perk midway through a run
- Approximately doubled the length of a run, and adjusted the difficulty curve with the later half of encounters now being harder than before.
- Added new perk: Heightened Senses - Companions using short arms have 360 degree awareness.
- Added new perk: Grindstone - Bonus mellee backstab damage for all friendlies.
- Added new perk: Bodkin Arrows - Bonus ranged backstab damage for all friendlies.
- Added new perk: Linden - Player block rate has an increased effect on that of companions.
- Added new perk: Reflexes - Companions using two-handed weapons will switch to their secondary if endangered.
- Added new perk: Amber - One extra item rewarded after each encounter.
- Added new perk: Highborn - Better starting equipment.
- Renamed "Boss" encounter to "Snorri" in preparation for the next boss.
- Added timer and expiry notification for the Demo build.
