Sending a patient on to a bigger hospital
- A critical patient (Level 1 or 2) in a hospital with no emergency department is now sent on by ambulance. This also applies on Unlimited money. Before, they could wait forever, because the game thought you could treat them.
- Your team can still stabilise them first. How the handover goes now decides what you're paid.
- You're paid for what you did, not the whole visit. Handing a patient over stabilised pays 60% of the care you gave. Handing them over unstable pays 30%. A quick send-on pays only for tests that were actually finished. A patient sent on for surgery pays the consult and tests. There's no discharge fee, and no consult is charged if no doctor saw them.
- A hospital that keeps and treats the patient still gets the full bill.
Ambulance
- The roof lights now sit on the roof instead of floating above it.
- The ambulance crew use the new characters. This includes the ones inside the ambulance and the two who walk in at handover.
Thank you to Zrock for the idea behind the payment rule, and to everyone who sent reports.
