The latest Steam Playtest update focuses on making Nations Beyond Earth easier to navigate and more accessible to players around the world.
We've expanded our in-game localization across two additional languages:
German
Japanese
Localization is still being refined, and some dynamically generated messages may remain in English. Additional corrections will continue throughout the playtest.
We've also addressed several readability and layout issues reported during testing:
Improved player and faction information in the match setup lobby.
Adjusted match staging layouts and participant information.
Improved DEFCON status readability.
Increased the readability of diplomatic proposals.
Improved text sizing and spacing to better accommodate translated content.
We're continuing to work on gameplay stability, AI behavior, interface improvements, and the overall playtest experience.
