A Powerful Update

On Steam

This patch is mostly focused on adding new content, but there were a few things fixed.

The first round is supposed to have the arena shrink faster than the other rounds to help speed it up a bit. This worked previously... but only for the first game you played. That has now been fixed, and it should work for every game you play!

I also overhauled how the randomization works. The details are kind of complicated and there isn't a good way to explain it, so I'll just say that random things are now more random, such as which powerups show up during draft.

New charge system!
Technically, the charge should work the exact same way it used to, just the system it uses to do so is different, so let me know if anything isn't working properly...

And now, for what you have all been waiting for...

13 New Powerups!

Smol Bean
- Lose half your size (trust me it is actually half even if it doesn't look like it)

Introvert
- Nearby players are slowly pushed away from you

Misfire
- Your blasts have a 1% chance to have 10x knockback

Heavy Hitter
- Your blast knockback scales with your mass

Immoveable Object
- While you remain (mostly) stationary, your mass is tripled

Desperate
- The closer you are tot he edge, the stronger your overall blast

Jackpot
- Every 7th blast is overall twice as strong

Reflector Shield
- When struck, take 25% less knockback, and the striker is knocked back 50% more

Tremor
- When you KO someone, knock everyone else towards the edge

EMP Blast
- When someone is blasted with your fully charged blast, they lose their charge

Edging
- Charge faster the closer to the edge you are

Intimidation
- Nearby players charge slower

Blast Absorption
- When blasted, convert some of the force into your own charge

Now, I know what some of you are thinking. Aerial, just what is this striker/getting striked business. Simply, a striker is someone that is colliding with someone else. So, if one player aims themselves at another player with their blast and collides with that player, the player that moved is the striker, and the player getting hit is the one being struck. If both players are going towards each other, both players are simultaneous a striker, and neither are getting struck. Good luck figuring that out.

Let me know if anything's broken!
