Achievements: 37 stickers to earn (win each difficulty, feats of skill, co-op and collection goals, five secrets), shown in a sticker-book page with a toast when you earn one, and mirrored to Steam achievements when Steam is running.
Some items now unlock through achievements, and the Compendium has an Items tab showing which achievement unlocks each locked item.
Random pick on the character, weapon and map selects.
Difficulty unlocks now feel like a reward: coloured cards, taped locks and an UNLOCKED stamp.
Invite a friend with Steam Remote Play Together straight from the game.
Changed
Defeat and victory screens are one page: a card per player, awards on the player who earned them, and details on a post-it.
The end-of-run screen asks "How was this run?" with one-tap Too hard / Too easy / Loved it / Found a bug chips that start your feedback note.
The shop and level-up screens open and refresh faster, most of all in four-player games.
Shop and spellbook screens are tidier in late runs and in co-op.
Characters without mana no longer get mana items in the shop or in crates.
Enemies hit a little softer as the waves go on, and Max Health level-up cards give twice as much.
Run reports sent with telemetry now include more combat and shop detail (what killed you, hit sizes, shop offers), to help balance the game.
Fixed
Level-up cards: the card symbol could be drawn between two cards instead of on its card.
Long shop-card descriptions wrap and end with an ellipsis above the price.
Enemies no longer become immune to a second hit right after the first one.
Co-op seat cards keep their place when the window is resized.
A co-op player leaving mid-shop, level-up or crate screen no longer reshuffles the other players' offers, locks or rerolls.
The General Store no longer sells items that are still locked behind an achievement.
Music no longer cuts out about two seconds in when the track changes during a crossfade (including Skip Song).
