Update - Nov. 6th

On Steam

Booking

  • The show picker shows the show you are booking. It only listed your next five shows. When you opened a show further out, for example from the Calendar, the picker kept showing your next show, while the card and Run Show worked on the later one, so Run Show offered to jump weeks ahead. That show is now in the list and shown as selected.

Travel costs

  • Travel is only charged when your crew actually travels. A show at a venue was labelled with the venue's state, like "New York", while a show with no venue set used your promotion's region, like "USA (East Coast)". The game didn't see those as the same place and charged a cross-country trip for everyone on the card every time it switched between them, even in your home building. Shows in the same area, or in the same building twice in a row, no longer pay for travel. Trips to another region still cost what they did.
  • Booking's Travel Preview shows what you will be charged. It could name a different trip than the bill, and its amount left out how travel prices change over time. It now shows the same trip and the same amount as the bill.

Inbox and Finances

  • The front office reports the week you just played. Its "The book says we're up/down ... on the week" line in Week in Review, and the Weekly Recap, were written the moment a new week started, after that week's wages and running costs came out and before its show had made anything, so they usually read as a loss. They now report the finished week, with the same numbers as the Finances screen.
  • A week where none of the bills could be paid now counts as that week. Finances' "Latest week in the books" skipped it and showed an older week instead. It now shows that week, with its unpaid bills and no income, and the front office reports it the same way.
  • The Weekly Recap keeps a week's $0. A week with no income, or no costs, showed another week's figure in its place, so the numbers didn't add up.

Sponsors

  • Show results credit the sponsor you put on the show. When the main event had no sponsor picked, its "Main event presented by" spot went to whichever partner's turn it was, and the results then said that partner presented the whole show, even if another sponsor had every other segment. The show is now credited to the sponsor on the most segments, and the partner who presented the main event still gets credit for it. Shows you ran before this update keep the credit they had.
