Domino VR · public · first seen
Domino VR has left Early Access. Version 1.0 is out now, on PC VR and natively on the Steam Frame.
The game first came out in 2016 and has since been rebuilt from scratch. If you last played it years ago, almost everything is new: physics, controls, art and sound.
Build: place dominoes one by one or paint long rows with a sweep of your hand, up to 20,000 per world on PC and 5,000 on the Steam Frame.
Contraptions: ramps and balls, a bell, a crane, a pendulum, a seesaw catapult, a cannon, a placing car and more.
24 puzzle levels: three short tutorials, then 21 puzzles, each with a domino budget and up to three stars.
Level editor: build your own puzzle levels, beat them, then share them.
Steam Workshop: share your worlds and levels, and play what other people made.
Your Room (Steam Frame): build on your real floor and tables with passthrough.
Build together (experimental): host a world for friends through Steam, or join one from your friends list.
The menu laser keeps up with your hand instead of floating behind it, while still hiding small hand shake.
The wrist menu no longer clips through the controller.
The music plays on when you load a level or go back to the menu, instead of starting over.
Menu and building sounds are much quieter.
The main menu is bigger and easier to read in VR.
On the Steam Frame, the spectator camera is gone from the camera table and the props menu, since it films for a PC screen the headset doesn't have.
Thanks to everyone who played during Early Access and sent feedback!
