Redesigned Tools and Match Setup

• Ship Designer: Rebuilt the interface with a searchable hull library, resizable panels and module slots arranged around the ship preview. Preview module changes before applying them, with clearer comparisons for energy use, damage output, production cost and build time. Improved resizing, stat readability and button layouts, and removed redundant tooltips.

• Map Editor: Added illustrated object palettes and docked panels, with a refreshed toolbar, overview, inspector, map browser and save dialogs.

• Match setup: Improved the New Game layout across screen sizes. Custom-map selection now previews the saved map layout and starting positions, and keeps your selection when refreshing the list. Multiplayer setup and lobby screens use more space, with restored game-mode icons and better-organized settings.

Gameplay and Battlefield Improvements

• Tactical pause: Single-player orders now update paths, stances, production and research queues while the simulation remains paused.

• Ship navigation: Fixed ships stalling around parked vessels, corrected collision avoidance around mines and nonphysical objects, and restored missing visuals for solid obstacles.

• Mine markers: Added recognizable mine symbols in the world and on the minimap, with distinct friendly and hostile colors. Enemy-mine visibility still follows detection rules.

• Nebulae: Improved cloud detail and blending. Nebulae now reveal progressively as you explore, with smoother transitions and minimap visibility that follows discovery.

• Gate notifications: Gate activations now use on-screen notices and event-log entries instead of voice alerts.

• Constructor menus: Unresearched buildings are now hidden from the construction menu.

Menus, HUD and Autosaves

• Save/Load and autosaves: Save slots now use compact cards that expand when selected. Removed unnecessary autosaves when returning from Achievements and other menu panels, preventing the resulting stalls.

• HUD and settings: Moved minimap size controls into its header, improved Options category-label fitting, and fixed cancel-button labels in compact production queues.
