Fixed a cache disk menu that could open on top of the level-up menu, a shop or the drone prompt. When that happened it got stuck on screen with no way to close it from a controller or keyboard, and stayed there through game over. Pickups no longer get collected while the game is paused.
Trams have their death explosions back. Dead trams no longer slide across the screen trailing dust.
Exachrome no longer plays its death explosion twice.
Fixed a bug that could make a shooting enemy stop firing for the rest of its life.
Jetbugs now fly across the screen properly instead of drifting away or skimming along the edge.
Big boss phases now stay big, and a recycled enemy no longer keeps an earlier spawn's big-enemy stats.
Bosses & Hard Mode
The hyper bosses are tougher, with more HP, more speed and their own phase timing. Their armor also goes up as the fight goes on. This covers the BM-01 family, Oppressorbot Deluxe, Lord Tox, Supervisor, Mutant King and Ultra Cell.
Hyper variants that were weaker than their regular versions have been raised: Zenoform, Angel, Crimson Husk, Omniborg, Robocarp, Skinbat, Worm, Rat Punk and Cultist.
Hyper Chompanzee gets faster and tougher as it takes damage.
Hyper Capsule now fires a point-blank double shot when you get close.
Stage 5: a new, more aggressive Hyper Crimelord replaces the regular Crimelord.
Stage 5
Hard mode and Remix stage 5 have denser, more mixed waves. There are fewer pure fodder swarms, and loot-heavy enemies show up less often. Remix stage 5 adds combo events where several waves land at once. Remix stages 1-4 are unchanged.
Stage 5 hostages are guarded by big captors and have tougher prisons. Freeing them gives bigger rewards (extra cash, upgrade disks and yellow weapon disks).
Polish
Muramasa slash is quieter, and Lord Tox's second form has quieter footsteps.
The hostage prison's hit sound no longer plays twice per hit.
Updated invincibility animation, plus new visuals for the second Lord Tox variant's AT field.
Bio-Coder's description now says what it does: heal, speed boost or a homing biomine.
Mutant King's gore death no longer slows down time.
