Manage your own uploads under My Level Packs. Update a pack at any time, or unpublish it.
Your progress in a level pack saves just like the main game. Load Game has a new Saves: button to switch between the main game and your level packs.
To get you started, try Random Maze - Starter Level Pack.
Instructions: Crystal Rift Dungeon Editor | Psytec Games
Test Play and Back to Editor in the pause menu: switch between building and playing without a keyboard. F2 still works.
New VR tool palette: it floats above your free hand. Point the laser at a button and pull the trigger. It has Test Play, Save, Map, Fill, Undo, Redo, Copy, Paste, Rotate, Open/Shut, Ghost, Set Target, Delete Target and Previous/Next Level. Changing level from the palette saves first.
The VR laser now chooses blocks from the block bar and works on the full map.
Fixed: resuming the editor with the trigger dropped a block in front of you.
Fixed: starting a test play with the trigger swung your sword when you let go.
Steam Cloud saves are now on for everyone, and your save games are shared between PC and Steam Frame. Settings stay separate on each device.
Rebuilt on a modern engine using OpenXR, so it plays on any SteamVR headset.
One game for VR and flat screen. Crystal Rift starts in VR when a headset is available, and in desktop mode when it isn't.
Valve Index: left B pauses. Vive wands: press the trackpads to move and turn.
Steam Frame streaming to your PC gets its own controller layout.
Saving is much more robust. A crash or headset removal during a save no longer wipes your existing save, and your settings now stay put between floors.
The crystal dragon fight no longer stops after the dragon's first fly-over.
Defeated monsters now sink into the floor instead of vanishing, including the Rock Golem.
Fireballs now hit monsters standing with their back to a wall.
Sword attacks no longer pass straight through barrels and monsters.
Music fades out smoothly when you take the stairs.
Sword trails are cleared when you move or take the stairs.
Levels load much faster.
Lighting and fog are rebalanced.
