Update — November 2: This hotfix has been rolled back. The Playtest is now on stable build 26356618 while we investigate performance and missing mine entrances. Please close the game and let Steam finish updating before joining.

Original hotfix notes (rolled back)

We've released a performance hotfix for the Ashen Wild Playtest (build 26389482).

Wildlife navigation checks now do less work during each server physics step. Local before-and-after tests around Greenfall and the farm showed lower server CPU use and physics time, addressing the extra cost behind the recent fluctuations.

This hotfix preserves the current gameplay rules and world layout. No world or character reset is required.

Loading and memory-cleanup hitches may still occur.

Please let Steam finish updating the Playtest before joining.
